Eloise G. Krausse

Eloise G. Krausse, age 90, went home to be with the Lord December 17, 2017. Born in Ashland, Ohio, Eloise lived in the Akron area most of her life. She graduated from Central High School, received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Akron and later her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. Eloise retired from teaching at Sieberling Elementary, was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church and The Akron Women City Club. When time would allow, Eloise loved to travel and play bridge. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert B. Krausse, Jr.; son, James B. Krausse; brothers, Richard and Roger; she is survived by son, Karl (Janice); daughter, Ruth; grandchildren, Paul, Andy, Ben, Tony and Duane. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 2406 Ardwell Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Brian T. Nutt officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the church in memory of Eloise.
