Fran Hershberger

Fran Hershberger, age 79, went home to be with the Lord September 15, 2017. Born in Elmwood, Tennessee, she lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio and was a member of East Market Street Church of God. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and especially spending time with her family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Hershberger; brothers, J.C., Kenneth and John; and sister, Louise; she is survived by her children, Paul H. (Tina), Doug and Pat (Archie) Bradford; step-daughters, Susan George and Beverly Burkett; grandchildren, Brian, Kelly, Jim, Jolene, David, Karen and Chris; great grandchildren, Hailey, Isabella, Jimmy, Paisley, Raelyn, Kennedy, Owen, Jay, Trevor and Konnor; and brother, Bobby Woodard. The family extends a sincere thank you to special friends, Ron and Vicky Kirby, for all their help and support. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, with Pastor Rick Fuson officiating. Friends and family will be received prior to the service on Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
