Joan Marie Longstreth

"Together Again" Joan Marie Longstreth, age 85, went home to be with the Lord and her husband, John “Jack” on January 24, 2017. Born in Atwater, she graduated from Springfield High School and lived in the Tallmadge area most of her life. Joan was a homemaker and artist. She enjoyed crocheting, canning, sewing and painting. Joan was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Joan and John “Jack” were adventurous travelers, camping their way across the U.S. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John “Jack”; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Coletta Keppler, she is survived by children, Janet (Kim) Neubert, Jean Andrick, Julia Longstreth, Jim (Debra) Longstreth, Joyce (Chris) Adams and Judy (Mark) Milvet; grandchildren, Chuck (Sherry) Neubert, Trisha (Bob) Yost, Nikki (Chad) Molina, Jessie (Dan) Straight, Dustin Andrick, Auna (Michael) Lattavo, Scott (Stephanie) Brownlee, Kendra (Steve) Marks, Jonathan Longstreth, Stefanie (Ryan) Boggs, Brodie (Cori) Adams, Brandon (Diandra) Adams, Corey Adams, Cameron Adams, Karly (Ryan) Lind, Megan Milvet and Austin Milvet; great-grandchildren, Loren Neubert, Kirsten (Byron) Delpinal, Zoey and Zander Straight, Vincent, Luca and Aida Lattavo, Harlan and Jensen Marks, Reid and Georgia Boggs, Willow Mileski; great-great-grandson, Aiden Delpinal; brother, Conrad (Marsha) Keppler; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 91 North Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278 with Rev. Michael Matusz presiding. The family will receive friends at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the church.
