Sandra Jean Emslander

Sandra Jean Emslander, age 49, went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Carthage, Mo., Sandra graduated from high school in Webb City, Mo. and then went on to graduate from The Akron Institute. She was employed by Galaxy Medical Products and was a member of Tallmadge Lutheran Church. Sandra loved spending time with her family and friends. Preceded in death by her brother, Danny Besett, she is survived by her husband of 20 years, Charles; sons, Zachre Hartman and Jared Emslander; granddaughter, Zoie Moon; parents, Carroll Besett and Eunice Jackson; and sisters, Tammy (Richard) Little and Shannon (Jesse) Blank. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at Tallmadge Lutheran Church, 759 East Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278 with Pastor Andy Alberts officiating.
