Teri Bonvenuto (nee Bowers)

Teri Bonvenuto, 62, of Hartville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2017. Teri was a long-time resident of Mogadore where she graduated in 1973. Teri was a member of the Mogadore Methodist Church. She enjoyed vacationing at Ocean City, riding in convertibles with the top down, butter pecan ice cream and being with friends and family. Teri had a love for life, her kindness and willingness to always help people was a special characteristic that will always be remembered. Teri is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mark Bonvenuto; their son, Adam Bonvenuto (Stefanie); their daughter, Ashley Thomas (Jarod); her mother, Marilyn Brocco (Lou); and two sisters, Jeanne Kilgore (Rick Montecalvo) and Sue Bush (Jack); her loving grandchildren, Drew, Lexi, Gavin & Preston; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, James Bowers; her brother, Rick Bowers; and nephew, Aaron Kilgore. A memorial service will be held at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home 547 Canton Road, Akron, OH 44312 on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 4 p.m. Calling hours will begin prior to the service, from 1 to 4 p.m. The family will be there to greet relatives and friends.
