Barbara J. Bee

Barbara J. Bee, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2021. Born in Akron, she lived in Tallmadge most of her life. Barb graduated from Akron North High School and was employed at Goodyear. She was an active member of Northwest Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed bowling, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, William Sr. and Virginia, and her brothers, William Jr. and Marion. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Thomas Bee; children, Jeff (Lori), Greg (Sheri), Bruce (Anne), Larry (Denise), Tari (Steve) Spataro, Keith (Lisa), Beth (George) Van Horne; grandchildren, Courtney, Kirstie, Michael, Tommy, Joe, Danny, Ryan, Kyle, Dylan (Julia), Madyson, Destiny, Taylor (Kevin) Ormond, Jacob, Isaac, Ella, Ian, Adam, Lillian, Georgie; and her brother, Arthur “Chip” Cabell. Memorials can be made to Northwest Avenue Church of Christ, 737 Northwest Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278 or Round Lake Christian Camp, 114 OH-3, Lakeville, OH 44638. A private family service is being held with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Akron. A memorial service celebrating Barb’s life will be held at a later date.
