Betty I. (Harter) Cliff

Betty I. (Harter) Clff - (1933-2018) Betty I. Harter Cliff (Mee-Maw), age 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 30, 2018. Born one of seven children to Everett and Ona Brooks in Akron on September 24, 1933, Betty lived her whole life in Mogadore and Ellet. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husbands Charles R. Harter and Willard L. Cliff; brothers, Jack and Charles Brooks; and sisters, Marcene Knowles, and Dorothy Beach. She is survived by her daughter, Jessie (Bill) Lane; son, Gregory (Jennifer) Cliff; grandchildren, Jennifer (Lester) Wicks, Jonathan (Trish) Lane, and Ethan Cliff; her six great-grandchildren, Natalie, Landon, Katie, Lilly, Jackson, and Declan; sister, Guanita Ellis; brother, Fred Brooks; and many nieces and nephews. Mee-Maw will be missed dearly by her family who will fondly remember and treasure memories of summers sitting poolside and spending time together. The family will receive friends at Hopkins Lawver MOGADORE Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), Mogadore, Ohio 44260, on Thursday, January 3rd from 10:30 a.m. to 12 (noon), with a funeral service taking place at 12 (noon). Services will end at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore where Betty will be laid to rest alongside “Chick” & Willard.
