Joyce Ione Havens

Joyce Ione Havens, age 89, passed away on June 27, 2017. She was born in Lampasas, Texas, and lived in the Akron area most of her life. Joyce enjoyed gardening and making crafts. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Havens; son, Larry D. Havens; daughter, Florence Mae Havens; and grandson, Jesse Lee Havens. She is survived by children, Edward J. (Jeannie) Havens, Sandra L. (Butch) Ambrose and Bruce L. (Jackie) Havens; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends and family will be received Sunday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be Monday, 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Baldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
