Maxine McClain

"Together Again" Maxine McClain, age 93, passed away on September 13, 2018 and is now with her husband, Bert. A lifetime area resident, Maxine was a faithful longtime member of Temple Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers, camping with her husband, and hunting mushrooms in West Virginia, but one of her greatest loves was the many pets that she cared for throughout her life. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nora (nee Dooley) Arnold; brother, Orvis Arnold; and her loving husband of 68-1/2 years, Bert. She is survived by her son, William; and daughter, Diane (Doug) Gruninger; grandchildren, David, Dana, Loren, Dennis, Jeff and Matt; and many great-grandchildren. Maxine will also be missed by her friends. Graveside Services and Burial will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312.
