Nola "Trollie" Pearson (nee Proctor)

Nola “Trollie” Pearson, age 84, died peacefully in her sleep on April 17, 2017. A life resident of Akron, she graduated from Ellet High School and had been retired for 20 years after working for Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority. Nola was a member of the Akron Metro Parks Hiking Club and enjoyed travel, hiking and playing cards. Preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Marie (Doyle) Proctor; brothers, Gene and Glenn Proctor; and sisters, Virginia Pipe (Proctor) and Edna Meyer (Cadmus), she is survived by her son, Brian Pearson; daughter, Sheila Pearson; and grandchildren, Colin Pearson, Erin Pearson, Lauren Gipe (Pearson), Ian Pearson, Matthew Meese, Nathen Jennings, David Pearson, Kalob Jennings and Justin Jennings. Friends and family will be received Saturday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Cremation has taken place.
