Paul A. Rettew

"Together Again" Paul A. Rettew, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2020. Born in Akron, Ohio, he graduated from Ellet High School and entered the Military as a Marine. Paul was employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Hayes Lehmer, for 40 years. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara, Paul is survived by his daughter, Patricia Howe (Michael); grandchildren, Michelle Howe and Olivia Barton (Dustin); great-grandchild, Anastasia Howe; and sister, Judy Brown (Gene). Family and friends will be received Monday, December 21st, from 4 to 7 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Avenue), UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685. Masks and social distancing protocols will be followed. Burial will follow the next morning at 10 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to D.A.V.
