Rex M. Richmond

Rex M. Richmond, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2021. He was born on April 3, 1936 and lived in Akron his entire life. Rex graduated from Hower Vocational High School and worked in the dairy industry at Isaly’s for 10 years, Lawson’s for 25 years, Willman for 15 years and Land O’ Lakes for 5 years. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, and volunteering. Preceded in death by his parents, Guy B. Richmond Sr. and Helen M. Richmond; and sister, Beverly Jane Richmond, Rex is survived by his wife of 51 years, Irene; son, Rex M. Richmond Jr.; daughter, Ruth E. Molnar; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Peggy Rawling. Private services have taken place with burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
