Richard D. (Rich) Kiplinger

Richard D. (Rich) Kiplinger, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2020. Rich was born in Akron, Ohio, graduated from Manchester High School and lived in Lake Township. Rich retired from The Teamster Service after 28 years. He was a member for 50 plus years of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church. Rich was also a Third Degree Mason and a past Monarch of the Yusef Khan Grotto. Rich enjoyed reading, leading youth mission trips and the time with his children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; Harold and Katherine; sister, Sharon Beamer; and brother-in-law, Charles Beamer. Rich is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy; son, Matthew (Stefanine); daughters, Rebecca (David) Hollis; Kathy (Nathan) Minger; grandchildren, Collin and Emily DeRosa, Emil and Camillo Wurtz-Kiplinger, Campbell and Georgia Hollis; and sister, Sandra (Stan) Cass. A private service will be held by the family with a celebration of life to be scheduled later in the spring or summer. Memorials may be made to Oak Hill Youth Missions and Yusef Khan Grotto Enchanted Lantern Fund.
