Robert (Bob) Remark

Robert (Bob) Remark 1947- 2019 Bob Remark, age 71, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 10, 2019. Raised in Canal Fulton, Bob made his family home in Uniontown, Ohio, after graduating from Northwest High School. He was a devout Catholic and longtime member of Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church in Springfield Township. The Rosary was a special part of his daily life. Bob started his own sales and marketing business, R.E. Marketing in 1988 and continued his work until his passing in order to stay close with his lifelong friends and acquaintances that became family to him over his 30 years in business. Above all, Bob had a tremendous love for his wife Mimi. They were inseparable. Much of their time was spent together on long drives in their favorite car or relaxing at their beach home in Clearwater, Florida. He will be remembered by his sense of humor, kind-hearted spirit and infectious smile that lit up a room the moment he arrived. He was always quick to turn strangers into friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Mimi, of 49 years; and daughter, Tracy, Bob is survived by his son, Chris (Stacy) and his grandchildren, Katie, Emily and Christopher; brother, Bill Remark; sister, Lois Hoskins; special friend, Bruce Ford; and many nieces and nephews that he cherished. He loved spending time with his grandchildren who have lasting memories of his faith, work ethic and humor. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Road, Akron, Ohio, on Saturday, August 24th at 10 a.m. with Father Zachary M. Kawalec presiding. Entombment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. In lieu of calling hours, a Retirement Celebration with food and beverage will be held at Prestwick Country Club, 3751 Glen Eagles Blvd. Uniontown, Ohio, from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
