Aimee B. Buckeye

Aimee B. Buckeye, 56, passed away on September 1, 2026.

She was a lifelong resident of the Akron area and graduated from Fortis College with her nursing degree. Aimee owned Bob’s Hamburg for 11 years with her husband, Daniel, and later worked for 7 years at Summa Health Systems as a Registered Nurse. Her family was her entire world. She took immense pride in raising her children and loved spending time with them.

Aimee was preceded in death by her mother, Kristine Cook. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Daniel Buckeye; her children, Alyssa Hudak (James), Austin Riegler, Adam Riegler (Mary), Nick Buckeye (Tatiana Noble); and her father, Larry Cook.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, September 10th from 4 to 6:30pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. A memorial service will begin at 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
