Altha "Joy" Clemensen

Altha "Joy" Clemensen, age 91, went home to be with her Savior on November 2, 2021. She was born on December 15, 1929 to Wilbur and Altha Nave in Orange, Ca. She resided in Orange, Albuquerque, and for the last 16 years in the Akron area. She enjoyed reading, studying God’s word, and puzzles. Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Clemensen, and sister, Wilburta Haller. She is survived by her children, Shirley Hunt, David Andrew (Diane) Clemensen, and Rebecca (Chris) Kline; grandchildren, Steven Clemensen and Christopher Kline; and sister, Shirley McCarty. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thru The Bible, PO Box 7100, Pasadena, CA 91109. Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 5th from 4 to 5 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m.
