Audrey Marie Romanik
February 9, 1931 — February 16, 2014
Audrey Marie Romanik, 83, went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2014.
She was born in Cleveland; formerly lived in Cuyahoga Falls and Mayfield Heights, and currently residing in Akron. Audrey graduated from Mayfield High School and enjoyed sewing, and listening to music – her favorites included Johnny Mathis and Frank Sinatra.
Preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Romanik; parents, Gilbert & Ruth Peterson; brother, Harold; and sister, Joanne. She is survived by daughters, Linda (Dave) Fisher, Deborah (John)Wiseman; grandchildren, Tim (Danielle) Wiseman, Nichole (Scott) Mickley, Andrew Wiseman; great grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Layla and Olive; brother, Jim; and sisters, Judy and Jane.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with funeral services following at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor John Wiseman officiating. Graveside services and burial Friday 10:45 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
