Betty A. Berger, 83, passed away March 7, 2026.
A lifetime resident of Akron, Betty worked as a caregiver for the elderly for many years. She enjoyed antiquing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Selma Zook, and son, James C. “Jimmy” Scarff. She is survived by her son, Jeff Scarff; daughter, Lee Scarff; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Cherish Hospice, 3969 Convenience Circle NW, Canton, OH 44718.
