Betty Ann Ledford

On August 3, 2026, Betty Ann Ledford, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior.

Born in Murphy, NC, on July 31st, 1938, Betty moved to Ohio in 1955 and was a longtime resident of Springfield Township. She enjoyed a simple and quiet life of cooking, baking, crafting, camping, working in her yard, and spending time with family. Her true passion was helping and taking care of others. No matter the situation she always wanted to know how she could help. She loved fiercely and cared deeply for those around her. Anyone who knew her will remember her strong willed and spunky personality. She had true grit and determination for anything she set her mind to.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Homer Ledford Jr., whom she missed dearly. She is survived by her daughters Brenda Goehler and Nancy (Michael) Gravesmill; grandchildren Brittany (Kyle), Katie (David), Stephanie (Josh), Jessica (Donnie), and Brandon; great grandchildren, Greyson, Spencer, Hazel, Owen, Levi, Amelia, and Ezra. She will be immensely missed by her family who will especially remember her anytime they see her favorite bird, a cardinal.

Visitation will be Thursday August 6th from 11-12 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home 3553 Northdale St NW, Uniontown, OH. A family service and burial will be held privately.
