Bill C. Millsaps

Bill Millsaps, 82, passed away after complications from surgery on September 11, 2025.

Born in Vonore, Tennessee, he was a resident of Brimfield for 24 years and Cuyahoga Falls for 33 years. He graduated from Vonore High School and retired from JC Penney after 47 years of service. Bill enjoyed reading, gardening, computers, and flea markets. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Troie Millsaps; brother, J.T. Millsaps; sister, Ruth Watson; brother-in-law, J.L. Watson. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Anna; son, Dave (Laurie) Millsaps of North Carolina; daughter, Carrie West of Akron; grandchildren, Robbie Millsaps and AnneMarie West; sister, Mildred (Austin) McKee of Madisonville, Tenn.; special cousins, Jim and JoAnn Brink; as well as a host of nieces and nephews in Ohio and Tennessee.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 2nd from 1 to 3:30pm at Papa Joe's Restaurant, 1561 Akron Peninsula Rd. Akron, OH 44313. Memorials may be made to Pet Guards, 4040 State Rd Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
