Billy R. Williams

Billy Williams, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2022. Born in Jellico, TN, he was a resident of Akron.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Akron CB Radio Club where he was known as “Mountain Goat.”

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosetta. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia; children, Billy (Gaye), Danny (Barb), Laura; grandchildren, Mariah (Kris), Desirae (Brendan), Justin, Freddie, Zachary, Amanda, Charlie, Johnny; great-grandchildren, Arionna, Layla, Aniyah, Kristopher, Aaliyah, Teddy, Miles; brother, Dave (Juanita), and sisters, Louise and Shirley (James).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in the care of Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home.

Friends and family will be received Friday, October 21^st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), OH 44312. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
