Bruce D. Piotter

Bruce D. Piotter, 78, passed away March 14, 2013. He was born in Akron, Ohio and was a life resident of the area. Bruce was a U.S. Army veteran, and was employed with Consumers Plumbing.

Preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice; his parents, Edward and Constance; brothers, Edward, Robert, Stewart and Donald; and sister, Theresa, he is survived by children, Cheri (Mick) Carmichael, Nancy (Ray) Gabler, Vicki (Butch) Blood, Jami Finney, Bruce Piotter and Theresa (Jeff) May; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Dodie.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, OH 44312, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by Mogadore VFW Post 8487.
