Carol Reilly, 94, was called home to be with Jesus on October 18, 2026. 

Born on July 9th, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio to James and Helen Agee, Carol graduated from the University of Cincinnati where she also met Dr. Charles Reilly, and they were married on June 11th, 1955. Charles and Carol moved to Uniontown, Ohio in 1969 with their six children. They were married for 56 years until Charles’ passing in 2011.

Carol was a devout wife and mother, devoting her life to her husband and children and all their activities including sports, dance, and theater as well as being a Girl Scout leader for many years. Carol loved to read and spend time at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky, with her family.

Carol was a devout Catholic and a founding member of The Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church in Akron, Ohio. She loved music and served as the first choir director at Nativity church.

Carol will be remembered most for her kindness, smile and always having a song in her heart.

She was preceded in death by husband Charles, and brothers James and Jerry and sisters Veronica and Loretta. She is survived by daughters Kathleen (Dave), Pauline (Victor), Carol (Dave), Mary (Ed), Susan (Jason) and son Charles, as well as 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She will be missed by many family and friends who take comfort that she is now home with Jesus. 

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, October 21st from 6 to 8pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral mass will be on Thursday, October 22nd at 10am at Nativity of The Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd. Akron, OH 44312 with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
