Carol L. Standel, age 74, passed away March 2, 2022.
Born in Morgantown, WV on August 20, 1947, she lived in Akron, OH. Carol enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Lexi and Chia. She was very close to her longtime friend, Joanne Lantz, who took great care of her during the last year of her life.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Leo E. and Carolyn Taylor. She is survived by her son, Dustin (Melissa) Standel.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, March 12th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. with burial following at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
