Caroline E. Cochran

Caroline E. Cochran, 102, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2026.
Born in Cleveland, she moved to Lakemore when she was young. She graduated from Springfield High School and Kent State, later retiring from Springfield Schools as a grade school teacher. Caroline loved playing the piano and organ for the church. She enjoyed playing games, Shuffleboard, and participating in church and Sunday school.
Caroline was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Walter Cochran. She is survived by her sons, John (Cindy), Jeff (Debbie), and Michael (Laura); 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many great relatives and friends.
Family and friends will be received Sunday, April 26th from 2 to 3:30pm at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Memorial service will begin at 3:30pm with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating.
