Catherine Marie Kungle

Catherine M. Kungle, 71, of Uniontown, OH entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday June 1, 2025.

Born in Akron, OH, Cathie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Francis; Two of her beloved sons, Todd J. Kungle and James N. Kungle Jr; Brother Robert Francis III; Sisters, Connie Francis, and Dorothy Dorman.

Cathies’ memories will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind: her husband who loved her dearly, James N. Kungle Sr; Children Robbie and Jeremy Wright; Brother Tony (Patty) Francis; Grandchildren McKenzie (Marty) Carden, Brooklyn (Adam) O’Karma, Gage Wright, Baker J. (Kungle) Rager, Matthew Holes and four Great Grandchildren.

She had a smile that could light up the darkest rooms. She gained many friendships throughout the years working as a hair dresser at Parkhill Beauty Shop. She then continued her career working at Uniontown Septic Tanks as a secretary. To know her was to love her. Cathie loved her dogs; it was not uncommon for her to have four or more at one time. She was a loyal wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, who was loved by many.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, June 8th from 4 to 6pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 9th at 11am with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
