Charles John Joseph

Charles John Joseph passed away on May 26, 2022. He was 73 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years of marriage Marjorie Joseph (Luli), son Robert Joseph, daughter Nancy Turchin (Joseph) and Son-in-Law Paul Turchin. He is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Joseph, father Victor Joseph, sister Mary Ann Estafen and brother Victor (Butch) Joseph. Charles lived in Akron his entire life. He graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School. He worked for RCA and Teletronics Inc. until 2004. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and was involved in numerous activities at St. Matthew’s Parish including the Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus. He fought multiple sclerosis for many years. Family and friends may come to calling hours at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 from 5 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Ave, Akron, OH 44312, on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at 11 AM with Father Michael Williamson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting to make donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Association or to St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.
