Charles W. Snyder

Charles W. Snyder Mr. Snyder passed away on April 9th 2018. Just two weeks ago Charlie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Our dad was an amazing father and husband. He was married to the love of his life, Jan for 54 years. He was a devoted father to Jennifer, Kristin and Johnny. He was a graduate of Wittenberg University in 1963 and was a member of the ATO fraternity. Dad spent his entire career in the insurance business. He owned Snyder Agency Inc. which was in our family for 75 years. Dad lived life with a servant heart. His passion was giving to others. For many decades Charlie gave his time and passion to Hattie Larlham Foundation, Lake Township Rotary, North Canton YMCA, Lake Community YMCA, Zion United Church of Christ and Junior Achievement. He is preceded in death by his son, Johnny; his parents, Naomi and Melvin; and his brother, Gene. He is survived by his loving wife, Jan; his adoring daughters, Jennifer and Kristin; his son-in-law, Quinton; and his granddog, Bentlee. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, April 20th at Zion United Church of Christ, 415 S. Main Street, North Canton, Ohio 44720. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
