Cheryl A. Woutat

Cheryl A. Woutat, 76, passed away and went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2023.

Born in Akron on September 7, 1947, she graduated from Green High School and was a lifetime resident of Coventry Township. Cheryl had many titles – ranging from bookkeeper at Friendly’s, real estate agent, and stay at home mother. She was a proud breeder of Hylan Hills Shelties and enjoyed gardening. She will be missed and loved forever. She is free.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Woutat; son, Michael Woutat; brother, Sonny; sister, Pat; grandchildren, Kailan and Rosie; niece, Dawn; and friends, Cass and Bobbie. She is survived by her sons, Matthew (mother of his children, Alana) and Robert Woutat; grandchildren, Matthew, Ava, Wyatt, Hunter, Ian, Jessica; sister, Joanne (Jim); brother-in-law, Jerry; nieces and nephews, Laurie, Wendy (Mark), Kim, Diane (Ken), David, Danny (Tracy); and many great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, September 30^th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Lockwood Cemetery.
