Christy Mains (Tomazic)

Christy Mains (Tomazic), 41, entered into rest April 5, 2012.

Born in Covington, Ky., she grew up in Cleveland, and had lived in Cuyahoga Falls for the past nine years.

Christy was a great mom who loved spending time with her children. She enjoyed laughing with family and friends and helping others, and especially enjoyed being with her granddaughter.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Christy is survived by her parents; brothers; sisters; loving children and granddaughter; fiancé of nine years, Bryan Harris; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 2 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312, with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Cremation will follow services. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 12 noon until the service at 2 p.m. In lieu of other remembrances, contributions may be made to the funeral home on behalf of Christy’s family.
