Cora Belle Leiser

Cora Belle Leiser, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2022. Born in Akron, she was a resident of Greentown. She attended Springfield High School and retired from the North Canton City School District in 1996. Cora was a member of The Greentown United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included crafting, sewing, and crocheting. She enjoyed reading, playing games with her family, and watching the Cleveland Indians. Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Della Jackson; brothers, Frederick and James Jackson; sister, Pamela Palmer; daughter, Barbara Calderon; and granddaughters, Teresa Calderon and Ashley Dulaney. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Leiser; son, John (Brenda) Leiser; grandchildren, Maria (Chris) Ingersol, Hope (Joe) Murray, Kevin (Kyah) Leiser, Shawn Leiser, Dusten Leiser, McKenzie Leiser, Vickie Floyd, Rose Leiser; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Dye; and many nieces and nephews. Per Cora’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312.
