Daniel l. Miller

Daniel L. Miller, age 95, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 knowing the love and care of his children. He was born at Mt. Eaton on May 13, 1926 to Levi (1891-1985) and Dala (Gingerich) (1894-1972) Miller. On September 23, 1949 he married Keturah Wagler at Pleasant View Amish Mennonite Church in Hartville, where they were the first ones to be married. They were lifelong members of the church, with exception of several years in Daviess County, Indiana. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2019. Daniel was a dairy farmer and known as “Berry Dan.” He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Menno (Verna) Miller and Eli (Sara Mae) Miller; sister-in-law, Sarah Miller; son-in-law, Sam Yoder; and four grandchildren. Daniel is survived by his six children, Walter (Wilma) Miller of Minerva, OH, Norman (Martha) Miller of Mount Carroll, IL, Raymond (Ada) Miller of Uniontown, OH, Stephen (Laura) Miller of Chesterville, OH, Christina (Sam) Yoder of Taylorsville, NC, Dennis (Kelli) Miller of Uniontown, OH; 33 grandchildren; 86 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Andrew Miller; and extended family. Friends may call Friday, October 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church, 10547 Market Ave. Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 30th at 10 a.m. at the same location. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
