Dennis W. Hutchings

Dennis W. Hutchings, age 74, passed away July 31, 2013.

Born in Akron, he was a life resident of the area, living in Uniontown for the past 37 years. Dennis retired from Akron City Hospital in 2001, where he was employed as a plumber for 36 years. He was an avid fisherman and movie collector.

Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Linda; he is survived by son, Michael (Michelle Nelms) of Baytown, Tex.; daughter, Michelle Hutchings of Uniontown; and grandchildren, Jordan and Kailen.

Funeral service will be Monday, 6 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) with Pastor Phil Hulgin officiating. Burial will follow at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until service time Monday.
