Dennis J. Sega

Dennis John Sega, 78, passed away on April 1, 2025.

Born November 12, 1946, he was a resident of Hartville. He graduated from Wadsworth High School and served in the United States Army. He retired from K&D Construction after 30 years of employment.

Denny was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Sega; parents, John and Doris Sega; sister, Connie Durnye. He is survived by his children, Dee Jay Sega and Sherri Sega Newman; stepchildren, Timothy Blood and Andrea Walker (Jason); grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, and Zack Sega, Ty (Kayla) and Elizabeth Walker, Ian and Nolan Blood, Maddie Burkett; great grandson, Izak Walker; brother, Mike Sega (Patty); sisters, Nancy Boyer and Sandy Holland.

Family and friends will be received Monday, April 7th from 6 to 8pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Military honors and burial will take place Tuesday, April 8th at 1:15pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
