Don Howard Roepke

Don H. Roepke, born in Akron in June, 1929, passed away at his home in Cuyahoga Falls on April 5, 2024.

He was a graduate of East High School and Akron University, a member of Theta Chi fraternity, and served as 1st Lt. in the United States Air Force. Don was married to Nancy Ferguson on 6/21/1953 (70 years). He was employed by Goodyear Aerospace/Loral for 35 years, a longtime resident of Mogadore, serving for 12 years on Village Council, a Sunday school Teacher and Elder at Mogadore Christian Church, 2 X President and 60-plus year member of  Mogadore Lions Club #300, a member of Mogadore Historical Society, and Amos H. Englebeck Masonic Lodge #751. 

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy; daughters Kelli McKenna (Tom), Jerri Kincaid (Don); grandsons John and Andy McKenna; great-grandchildren Amelia, Conrad, and Mabel McKenna; sister, Rosalyn Movsessian; and brother, Ron Roepke. 

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home in Ellet. 547 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312. The family suggests memorials be made to the Mogadore Lions Club #300 or the Mogadore Historical Society.
