Donald K. Ward

Donald K. Ward, 81 years, passed away June 22, 2013 after a terminal illness.

He was born in Primroe, Ohio and lived in Cuyahoga Falls. Donald was employed as a machinist and was a lifetime member of Mogadore Moose #1082. Preceded in death by brother, Earl; he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Della; daughter, Donna Nellis; stepson, Brian Thomas; grandchildren, Heather (Santino) Desimone, Shannon (Monk) Williams; great grandchildren, Lewis and Ursula; brother, Bob (Christal); and numerous loving extended family members. Many blessings to his Summa Hospice caregivers, Megan and Stephanie.

Friends may call Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Kim Barnett will be officiating. Private committal at Northlawn Memorial Gardens at the family’s convenience.
