Donna L. Trace

Donna L. (Thompson) Trace of Mogadore passed away on January 20, 2026 at age 89. 

She was born Nov. 9, 1936 to Marian (Shafer) and Clare L. Thompson in Warren, Ohio. She graduated from Warren G. Harding class of 1954. She attended Mount Union University where she met her husband of 58 years, James B. Trace. 

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, James and son, James B. Trace III. She is survived by son Steve (Beth) Trace and daughter Wendy (John) Hanigofsky, daughter-in-law Janice Trace, grandchildren Katie (Eric) Choffin, Jessica (Steve) Szklany, Jack (Kelsea) Hanigofsky and Erin (Tate) Fleming, great grandchildren Trace, Collin and Gabrielle Choffin and Mae Szklany, brother Charles (Solveig) Thompson and sister Nancy (Art) Timms.

Per her wishes there will be no calling hours. A private service for immediate family will be held at a later time. Memorials, if desired, may be made to ones favorite charity or church. Cremation has taken place.
