E. Malinda Force

E. Malinda Force, 93, passed away August 23, 2012 at Summa Barberton Hospital.

Born in Brimfield, Mrs. Force was a resident of the Portage Lakes area for over 60 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Royal “Tom”; son, Harry “Tom”; and daughter, Ruby Baker, she is survived by grandchildren, Dan Baker (Jina Dimarzio), Kellie (Kim) Bond, and Kristi Baker, all of Canton; daughter-in-law, Ellen Decourville of Akron; two great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Paisley of Newton Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St., Uniontown, OH 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.). Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service time.
