Earl W. Fisher Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 6th, 2025 at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda, and his sons, Wayne (Kelly) and David (Emily). His greatest joys in life were his granddaughters, Rylie and Piper. He is also survived by his younger brother, Timothy (Terry), and many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Etta Fisher.
He was a devoted member of Hillwood Chapel and enjoyed 50 years of camaraderie at Lake Milton Fish and Game Club. In his retirement years, Earl took up painting and found a friend and mentor in Dale Warren, his art teacher. The beautiful works he painted now hang in the homes of his friends and family.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 14th from 2 to 5pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312, with funeral services to be conducted at 1pm on Monday, the 15th. Graveside services to follow immediately after at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Services officiated by Pastor Curt Jones. Meal following the graveside service at Hillwood Chapel, 4824 South Arlington Rd., Uniontown, OH 44720.
In lieu of flowers, Earl’s wishes were for all donations to be made to the girl’s soccer program at Lake Center Christian School. 12893 Kaufman Ave. NW, Hartville, OH 44632. The best way to do this would be through the website, lccs.com/support, in memory of Earl.
