Earl H. "Sonny" Rentz

Earl H. “Sonny” Rentz Sr., age 65, passed away December 25, 2014.

Born in Akron, he lived in the area all of his life, and was the owner/operator of “The Little Store” for 25 years. Earl is survived by his wife of 46 years, Estella M.; sons, Earl H. (Jennifer) Rentz II of Hartville, and Brian C. (Christine) of Lakemore; daughter, Christina M. Lane of Lakemore; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, James Rentz and David (Rose) Rentz; and sisters, Caroline (George) Jones, Nancy (Richard) English and Linda Harris.

The family will receive friends Monday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Earl H. Rentz II officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. =
