Edith K. Renick, 81, went home to be with the Lord June 21, 2012.
Born in Marion County, W. Va., she lived most of her life in Akron and was a member of Ernest Angley’s Grace Cathedral. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank; grandson, Todd; great-granddaughter, Allison; and brothers, Tom and Jack, Edith is survived by son, James (Linda); grandson, Jim (Renee); great-grandsons, Jacob and Lucas; brother, Tony (Betty) Suppa; and sister, Shelby Lowther.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 11:30 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312, with Rev. Bob Hoffman officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
