Elizabeth R. McCormick

Elizabeth R. McCormick “Aunt Lizzy”, age 86, passed away January 8, 2014.

Born in Akron, she lived in Lakemore most of her life, and was a homemaker. Elizabeth enjoyed cats, bowling, and her “Bingo family”. Preceded in death by husbands, Al Sherbondy and Arthur McCormick; and daughters, Helen Marie, Lisa and Carrie Sherbondy. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Her family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Summit Villa Care Center.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, 4 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, where friends will be received from 2 p.m. until service time. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Lakemore Fire Department, 1400 Main Street, Lakemore, OH 44250.
