Elsie Congrove

Elsie Congrove “Granny”, age 95, a loving Mother and Grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2013.

Preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Congrove; daughter, Joyce A. Coble; and granddaughters, Valerie and Kimberly Congrove; she is survived by sons, James of Cuyahoga Falls, and Robert (Lindsey) of Akron; daughters, Carol (James) Pinney of Akron, and Ruth Congrove of Uniontown; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Saturday, 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorials are suggested to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Green, OH 44685.
