Ernest E. Householder

Ernest E. Householder, age 75, passed away October 3, 2013.

Born in Tippecanoe, Ohio, he lived in the Akron area most of his life. Ernest was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and retired from B.F. Goodrich after 40 years of service.

Preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Beatrice Householder; and brother, Richard; he is survived by sons, Marc (Kelly) of Green and Doug of Mogadore; daughter, Siobhan Householder of Akron; grandchildren, Mackallie, Delanie, Jarred, Cameron and Jocelyn; brother, Don Householder of Morehead, Ky.; and sisters, Martha (Paul) Vermillion of Cadiz, Ohio and Bonnie (Skip) Queen of Durham, N.C.

Memorial service will be Sunday, 2:30 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Memorials are suggested to the Mogadore Fire & Rescue Dept., 135 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, OH 44260.
