Together Again

Evelyn M. Malachosky, 105, passed away August 22, 2026.

Born in Akron, she graduated from South High School. She built airplanes during World War II and later retired from Polsky Department Store in downtown Akron after 12 years. In their early years, Evelyn and her late husband Steve, drove across the U.S. in antique cars with their friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Malachosky. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private services were held by the family.
