Faith E. Smith

Faith E. Smith, age 94, passed away October 2, 2021. Born in Uniontown, she was a resident of the area most of her life. She was employed at Summa, from where she retired in 1983. Faith was preceded in death by her husband, Jack. She is survived by her children, Charlene Barden and David (Deborah) Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer Hanning, Jason Smith, Nathan (Melissa) Smith, Marc (Rachel) Ruther, and Brian (Amy) Ruther; great-grandchildren, Rowan Hanning, Tanner Smith, Jacob Garett, Lance Garrett, Mason Garrett, Ava Ruther, Isla Ruther, and Nolan Ruther; and great-great-granddaughter, Paige Garrett. A special thank you to Serenity Hospice, St. Luke Lutheran Community – Portage Lakes, and Amee Holliday-Moskos for the great care in her final days. A private family service has taken place with interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Donations can be made in Faith’s honor to the American Heart Association.
