Francis A. "Frank" Kidikas

May 25, 1924 — November 2, 2012

Francis A. “Frank” Kidikas, 88, passed away November 2, 2012 after a brief illness. Born in Akron, he lived in Randolph all of his life, and graduated from Randolph High School. Frank was a truck driver for Mason Dixon Truck Lines for 33 years, and was a member of Teamsters Local 24. In his free time, Frank enjoyed fishing, and always liked to do things “his way”.

Preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn; brother, William; son-in-law, Wayne; and grandson, Aaron, he is survived by sons, Robert (JoAnn) of Kent, and Frank (Julie) of Randolph; daughters, Carol (Mark) Harris of Peachtree City, Ga., Cheryl (John) Thurmond and Debbie Bennett, both of Palm Harbor, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service Monday, 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time Monday. The family suggests memorials to a charity of one’s choice.
