Fred W. Hall

Fred W. Hall, 96, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2024.

Born in Virginia, he was a longtime resident of Akron. He retired after 37 years from Goodyear Aerospace and was a member of Relentless Church. He loved art, reading his bible, and flying planes, even building one himself!

Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel; parents, Joseph and Ina Hall; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Emma Jean Hall; children, Freddie (Gerald) Hinkle, Barbara (Chris) Mayer, Troy Hall; stepchildren, Richard (April) Capstick, Ronald (Tonya) Capstick, Robert (Becky) Capstick, Debra Brubaker; grandchildren, Shawn and Joseph Hinkle, Reed and Ian Mayer, Eric and Zachary Hall; 7 step grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. 

Family and friends will be received Monday, May 6^th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Lindsay Shuman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Relentless Church, 1878 Killian Rd. Akron, OH 44312.
