Gary G. Gill

Gary G. Gill, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2021. He was born in Akron, Ohio and lived in Hartville. He attended Central High School. Gary retired from B.F. Goodrich after 34 years. Gary was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing. He also loved spending time with his family. Family was everything to Gary and he never faltered at putting others before himself. To those who had the pleasure of knowing Gary, they would often refer to him as a “walking encyclopedia.” If you had a question, Gary would find the answer. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, John L. and Evelyn L. Gill; and his brother, Edward L. Gill. Gary is survived by brothers, Bruce A. (Brenda) Gill, John O. (Suzanne) Gill, and Keith A. Gill; his sisters, Lois L. Downey and Dawn M. Rudd; sister-in-law, Gerry Gill; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to International Rett Syndrome Foundation at 4600 Devitt Dr. Cincinnati, Ohio 45246 or the American Diabetes Association at PO Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
