Gerald D. Jarvis

Gerald D. Jarvis, 82, passed away on June 9, 2025.

Born in Akron, he was a resident of Uniontown. Jerry enjoyed a successful career, having retired from Holland Trucking, and was a member of Akron Teamsters Local 24. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Jerry had a passion for trucks and enjoyed the outdoors, finding joy in his time at the mountain cabin and fishing. He enjoyed poker nights and taking care of his house and lawn. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Myrna; brothers, Ronald and Lonnie “Bob”; and nephew, Gary. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Christopher), Don (Dianne), Jeff (Shawyna); daughter, Aren (Kirk); grandchildren, Brandon (Emily), Ryan, Megan, Ayden, Iris, Arleigh; brother, Gene (Mary Ann); and sister-in-law, Jacqueline.
